So basically what im trying to say from this whole rant is that be careful and you if you dont mind potentially losing the money, buy it then. It technically has everything I like, but somehow nothing clicks and the game is boring and uninteresting to me. But once I boot it up, I just dislike it, very much. I get excited reading about builds, the game, anything on wiki. On paper it has everything I love about ARPGs. I also love PoE for the insane build customization, end-game mapping and bossing, insane amounts of content, but it also takes time to achieve the same level of power like in D3 for example I love D3 for its power fantasy, run and gun, can't stop won't stop non-stop action, its quick dopamine, tons of shiny loot without dedicating too much of your free time to it. I recognize that all 3 vastly different games in the same genre. You can't just go switch builds and keep on rolling like D3 quickly, things take time. It is slower, more methodical, requires more thought into your build. Diablo 2 is a vastly different game from Diablo 3. Immortal is basically a D3 copy on mobile, same assets, same layouts, mostly, the same everything. So maybe buy if you can afford to waste the money just in case you end up disliking it and cant get a refund anymore.

It can be still be good even if you have no nostalgia attached to it but I would prepare for the fact that you might not enjoy it at all in the end. It think utilising those lower level rarities is definitely lacking in many if not all other arpgs save for D2/R. Then your mind is blown because for very niche builds all those blue items you stopped caring about all that time ago could now potentially be much better than anything else you can find for a specific slot. Then you dig a little deeper for your class and you find that actually sometimes there are gold rings or items that are actually near or BIS. That's an interesting thought - to go back and need items you wouldn't typically think you've outgrown. Then you discover you need to pick up white or grey items to make runewords. Quickly you move to rares and then if you're lucky to some uniques. It bears mentioning that it still falls behind imo in one thing - making some base items and lower tier items important for late game.
